LARGEST ALL-JEWELRY PAWN BROKERAGE IN THE UNITED STATES SWITCHES TO EYESON |
Sam Shocket, the owner of the largest all-jewelry pawn brokerage in the United States, needed to replace his existing
video surveillance system. He runs three stores in the Los Angeles area and has more than 85 employees.
Like many of his competitors, his existing system only consisted of a recorder and some cameras. It wasn’t enough, and
he needed to upgrade to a more up-to-date system. Instead of eyeson, he chose to have his system replaced by a
local company who installed his existing system.
"That was a mistake," Mr. Shocket said. "I soon saw its limitations and regretted my decision."
Recently, he saw a demonstration of the eyeson system. "They walked me through all of its capabilities. I was
impressed at how one system could help me manage my stores and employees and help provide good customer service."
He was so convinced about eyeson that he got rid of his existing equipment—a significant investment. For about

proper change. He was even able to prove that a client complaint of poor customer service was unfounded. "My clients

- The system also helps with inventory control. In two instances, were able to locate inventory. "Because of our
back-up, we knew that one item was accidentally misplaced and the other was suspiciously placed in an atypical location."
- He will soon integrate the POS function, which will allow him to track what was charged at the register and compare
that footage to what was actually given to customers.
Mr. Shocket has had the eyeson system for about four to five months. Overall, it has exceeded his expectations. "I’m
convinced about the value of the eyeson system," he said. "It has given me peace of mind and lets me to manage my
