Visitor Control - Sentinel |
|
The Sentinel system has a hardware and software component. The hardware includes a module that permits
several functions to take place:
- Beams to count people entering and exiting a store or area
- Sensors for door openings and closings
- Activators to release or lock magnetic locks (This allows or denies access to an area from a remote site.)
The software component allows you to:
- Send information to DataSpyder to overlay information on images being recorded on video.
- Notify you of the number of people entering and exiting your store. This capability allows you to compare store-to-store
traffic patterns. If stores with similar traffic patterns have a variance in sales, the Sentinel alerts you to the need of
possible corrective action for the underperforming store.
- Become a virtual mystery shopper by seeing where clients migrate to in your store and how your staff attends to them.
You can do this by retrieving the video for a specific client entry. Then, with one click, you can synchronize all of the
cameras and play back the event as it happened throughout your store.
In addition, the Sentinel allows you to remotely activate lights, air conditioning systems and doors, among other things.
Many of our clients us the Sentinel to control access to an area that contains valuables and safes. While viewing the facility
remotely, they can make sure everything is clear before activating the Sentinel to release the door. |
